Winner at the Signal Awards, Sydney Web Fest and more!

Well Starship Q Star has been continuing to snag awards and nominations the world over! Just last night they picked up Silver from the Signal Awards judges in the Craft category for Best Writing (Fiction), which recognises: “Shows that consistently demonstrate excellence in fictional writing.”

They were Finalists in the Signal Awards alongside BATMAN: THE AUDIO ADVENTURES (starring Jeffrey Wright and Chris Parnell), POWER TRIP (starring Tatiana Maslany), and previous year’s winner CELERITAS. STARSHIP was the only Australian and independent podcast in the category!

In other festival news - in the past few weeks the show has picked up Best Fiction Podcast at Sydney Web Fest as well as Best Comedy Podcast and Best Comedic Performance in a Podcast (Annie Lumsden) at Minnesota Web Fest.

They also picked up some more nominations at NZ Web Fest, and are Semi-Finalists at Austin Film Festival for their scripts for the show. Head on over to our Awards page to find out more!
